Sherie Kaplan, LCSW
Biography
I graduated from George Warren Brown School of Social Work at Washington University with a Master of Social Work degree in 1993. I have completed two post-masters training programs in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy. The first program was a 3 year residency at Care and Counseling from 1993-1996 where I completed my supervised clinical hours for licensure. The second training program was a two year program through the St. Louis Psychoanalytic Institute from 2003-2005. I have been providing psychotherapy services to clients since 1993 at Care and Counseling and In Private Practice beginning in 1998. Although I have helped adults of all ages, I have extensive experience in working with adolescents and young adults having worked as a school psychologist for grades 7-12 as well as counseling both undergraduate and graduate students at the Student Health Center at Washington University.
